Run in to 2024 on the right foot with the New Year’s Eve 5K! This year's race will Start and Finish in Lake View Park and run along the scenic Lakefront Path, and finish with a post-run celebration including a finishers' toast at Millennium Hall in Millennium Park! The New Year’s Eve 5K is a great way to finish 2023, and start 2024!

Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network’s mission is to save and enhance the lives of as many people as possible through organ and tissue donation. As the one of 57 organ procurement organizations in the country, we work with 180 hospitals and serve more than 12 million people in our donation area. Our Community Foundation is the philanthropic and fundraising arm of Gift of Hope that raises money to fund donor family services, donation education and research to ensure the best possible transplant outcomes. Your contributions help to support donor families on their journey of donation, support community events to provide education on donation and increase the number of donors in the registry to save more lives. The New Year’s Eve 5k is proud once again to partner with Up2Us Sports as our charity partner for the 2023-24 race. Established in 2010, Up2Us Sports is the nationwide leader in engaging and training sports-based youth development coaches, practitioners, and organizations to address the most pressing issues facing youth in under-resourced urban communities. Up2Us Sports does this through the following programs: Up2Us Coach, Up2Us VISTA and Up2Us Training. Up2Us Sports’ research, training and on-the-ground initiatives empower sports programs across the country to become a united force for meaningful change. To date, Up2Us Sports has reached nearly 620,000 youth by placing over 4,100 coaches and capacity building service members in underserved urban communities.
